IECMH 432 Introductions in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (5) SSc
Provides a survey of infant and early childhood development, including prenatal and neonatal factors, and social/societal influences, using an Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion informed framework. Emphasizes how risk and protective factors can impact social emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. IECMH 433 Trauma in Early Childhood: Resilience in Relationship (5) SSc
Focuses on early childhood trauma and on resilience through relationships. Uses an infant and early childhood mental health lens to explore adversity, resilience, historical trauma, and trauma-informed care. Offered: ASp.
